I love it, but it evokes more speculation than contemplation in me - is it a floor? And what is the extrusion? Something in me wants to smooth it out. Wondrous surface and reflection though. Is this a new series bubbling away?

Thanks to all of you for your kind words and keen interest! Regarding the source of this image, please read this. There are several other such images in the Photoworks archives, mostly in the urban category.

As you will read, this is a concrete floor and the extrusion is a table leg. Perhaps I should have been upfront about this right in the post, instead of teasing you all! And yes, I think these are going to be part of a new series I will work on this fall.
