Leslee, have a look at these photos taken one December day from almost the same spot, but with less fog. The second photo shows how the rising sun, though much lower so late in the year, is mirrored on the water. Sorry the link to the Nov.19th, 2008 one didn't help, so hope this one does. What a marvelous image! Like Leslee I thought it was all sky at first, so it was wonderful to have a look at your Nov 19th post and also be able to see what the fog was hiding. How reality must have seemed to bend and bow a little for you, seeing that first thing in the morning!
