Happy Canada Day

It is Canada's 137th birthday! Here's a little background history and how Canada got its name.

Many communities have celebrations like parades, free concerts and museums entries, street activities, lots of multicultural performances, and fireworks. Look at capital city Ottawa's program of events!

Congratulations, I hope you had a happy day and waved the flag energetically.

What an interesting set of suggested names for Canada; how embarrassing be a citizen of 'Superior', even if you felt it. Borealia is rather nice though, I'd like to refer to you as my Borealian correspondent,

Actually I rather like Kanata, which is actually the way the Finns pronounce Canada! Borealia is nice too because it calls up memories of seeing the aurora borealis in the north and even in Southern Manitoba.
