Just spent a pleasant hour or so browsing through your backblog and thought the least I could do is thank you for sharing your excellent prints. I'm particularly taken with the two Mirror Images - I guess it's the more definite human presence which is a theme of mine at the moment.

Suddenly realised that they remind me eerily of Max Schreck as Nosferatu! Don't suppose that was deliberate. But then he wouldn't have a mirror image, would he?

Thanks, glad you like them. My earlier works were more figurative, though sometimes semi-abstract.

I'm not entirely happy with how they look on the computer screen. They end up so small that they really don't show enough detail, and the textures and subtleties of a print are lost.

Max Schreck as Nosferatu...I don't know the names...care to tell me more?

Nosferatu is a masterpiece of German Expressionist cinema. Directed in 1922 by F.W.Murnau, it starred Max Schreck as Graf Orlock, and is the first cinema version of Dracula. There's more at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0013442/

Thanks for the info & link...brrr, what a scary face! I did not think my image is so frightening!?

Perhaps not. Maybe it's the links that are made in my head that are scary. Scare me sometimes.
