Taina, yes, we do have that in common. I must get back to some more macro photography - yours are an inspiration.

That plate is an unusual object to photograph but with the light reflected from it and in all its simplicity it is all the more interesting.

Joe, yes, it is a very ordinary little bowl but made unusual by the stain and the act of photography and placement on the blog. The act of seeing and recording the ordinary and everyday... just like you do on your blog.
