Extraordinary! Around the world and back again! The internet is just amazing. Thank you so much for all the wondrous new artists you introduce on your blog. Brad J Goldberg's site is fantastic. And on top of that, his Place of Origin on his Portfolio pages is my place of origin! I was born in the village of Insch, Aberdeenshire, within view of Bennachie. It is a magical area - you would love it. There is Dunideer Hill Fort, once an impressive Pictish hill fort settlement circa 1000BC and the Maiden Stone - http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&rls=RNWE,RNWE:2005-02,RNWE:en&q=+site:www.ancient-scotland.co.uk+Maiden+stone
And now we come to the frustration of the internet. Veil Suite: Three Figures II needs to be seen in reality. It has a mysterious quality that somehow makes a small reproduction just not enough for me.

Omega, "Place of Origin" was done at this residency workshop.

Unfortunately they have taken down pages showing work done there.
John Maine, a collaborator, has some good stonework on the web as well.
Mr. Goldberg and Dutch, I think, stone carver Ton Kalle

will be giving talks on their work in Portland, US, this fall.

Olga, that is extraordinary ! I love the Maiden Stone photos. And I'm glad you like this piece. Sorry about the small size - I may have to get some more bandwidth again. (Or relearn how to do the pop up images that I did earlier on in blogging.)
More great links there, Bill!
