For many years my work has been concerned with ancient art and observations of the transformation brought about by the weathering effects of nature. Rock art, sculptures, buildings, walls, passages, rocks and land formations are metamorphosed by the sculpting power of the elemental forces of nature. While the images may have their source in a digital form, the etching process is frequently used as one that can imitate weathering and aging processes.

Finding a spiritual connection between ancient and modern, and between nature, technology and humans, is part of my journey of discovery towards a fundamental and personal view of existence, a sense of eternity.

“Telling a story is a kind of prayer, a kind of meditation, a sacred act. It makes magic happen. Or is the story itself the magic?” -Erica Jong, “Inventing Memory”
