frost and shadows
fine frost etching, edging leaves
and blades of grass, furry white
still frozen where no sun touches
late afternoon sunbeams
through glass and paper snowflakes
flirting light and shadows

curled up spider
feathery white moth
paper-like wings still open wide
turning to dust on the studio windowsill
silhouettes
a walk in the park
chasing clouds, dancing light
light and shadow, black and white

leaves on glass
stained glass of
rusty red and yellow
birch leaves on wet skylight
