Boxing Day walk
Reminisces...
two lovely days with dear friends
hours of chatting, eating, laughing
long walks in our neighbourhood
where they used to live
before moving away

Sounds perfect. And that's a very fine bird there in that tree...

Oh, sounds (and looks) lovely. That is a fine, enormous raptor there!

It's great to spend time with friends and family at this time of year. Glad you are making the most of it!!

Thanks, all! Yes, that's an eagle, though we were surprised at its dark colouring, perhaps a youngster, though very large? We have a lot of of bald eagle nesting areas in these parts.
We're being very lazy today, for the first time in quite a while, after all the preparations and then time with family and friends. Hope you are all enjoying these last days of the year!

How better to spend Boxing day! Good to focus on the twin pleasures of friends and nature.
