Gallery hours: Friday – Sunday, Noon – 4 p.m.
The exhibiting artists are Wayne Eastcott, Bonnie Jordan, Michiko Suzuki, Peter Frey, Joan Smith, Hans-Christian Behm, Christel Kleinewillinghofer, Linda Robertson and Marja-Leena Rathje.
The Bowen Island Arts Council runs this gallery along with many cultural programs. This is a fascinating fact on their website:
Based on a recent national study of communities with a population of less than 50,000 people, Bowen Island was identified as the 4th most artistic community in Canada.
Bowen Island is a short 20 minute ferry ride from Horsehoe Bay, West Vancouver. Here is a map of the route to the gallery from the ferry landing at Snug Cove.

How I wish I could hop on a ferry and be there to celebrate the opening with you!
Like Maria, I wish I could jump into a bus, train, subway (all the Hamburg airport), plane and shuttle service (to Vancouver), and then bus and ferry to your exhibit. In any case, enjoy, rejoice and celebrate every moment of it. Looking forward to hearing about the rave reviews and the local perspectives…

Sounds like a great exhibit. Have fun at the opening. I am sure the work will be amazing, and yours outstanding. Wish I were there to see the mix of prints, too!
Taina, thank you! How I wish all of my blog friends could be there. I think it should be a good show. I haven’t seen it and won’t until the reception. I think tomorrow I should learn which piece(s) of mine were selected and confirm which artists are taking part in it as some may be a guess on my part.
Wednesday Sept. 16th: I’ve edited the list of the exhibiting artists above. I’m told four of my ARKEO pieces are displayed in this exhibition and that the gallery is a very lovely space.
